Join Dominion Gaming

Thank you for your interest in the Dominion. This page outlines our recruitment procedures, from where you're at now until full member status.

NOTE: The minimum age to join Dominion Gaming is 18. The only exception is for family members of adult Dominion Gaming members after pre-approval by the Command Group.

Step One - Research

If you are interested in joining our group, please ensure that you have browsed through our web site, particularly the information on our About page.

Step Two - Request

To initiate your recruitment request, please fill out the information requested at on our recruitment request page. Doing so will register your request in our database, allowing an officer to review your request and send you additional information upon approval. When submitting your request, please be sure to include personal details such as your name, location, and age, as well as the Dominion-supported games that you would like to play with us. Failure to properly fill out the recruitment form will lead to your request being rejected!

Step Three - Registration

Once an officer has reviewed and approved your request, you will receive an e-mail containing a special link which will allow you to create your personnel file on our web site. You should receive this message within 24 hours of your request, although it will generally come much sooner. You should ensure that you double-check your SPAM or JUNK MAIL folder, as this message may be inadvertently marked as junk mail.

During your registration, you must choose a Dominion Member Name. Because we refer to members in general conversation and in-game by their member name, your name should be clearly pronounceable (as opposed to an internet username, such as dEEpdenim). It's what you want to be called in conversation. Your real first or last name is usually one of the best choices, although you may also use something made-up. When selecting a name:

  • Use proper capitalization (i.e. Sinclair, not SiNcLair or sinclair)
  • Use spaces instead of underscores (i.e. Alex Rogan, not Alex_Rogan)
  • Do not include numbers at the end of your name (i.e. Sinclair, not Sinclair588)
  • Do not include titles or ranks in your name (i.e. Topace Sinclair, Sergeant Sinclair, etc.)
  • Generally, your member name should read like an actual name, and can be your real name (or a part of it) if you so choose.
  • Example bad names: dEEpdenim, akaDEATH, theFLYINGpig
  • Example good names: Jeffrey Hughes, Balric, Lynx Kane

We respectfully request that you adhere to the naming policy. Re-naming members after registration is a hassle that we prefer to avoid.

Step Four - Membership

Congratulations! After completing registration above, you become a member of the Dominion. Shortly after registration you will be assigned to a "Squad" consisting of up to 11 other members who also play your particular game platform.

New members are considered "probationary" for the first 15 days. The Dominion strives to be a closely-knit group, and this period allows existing members to get to know you. Following this probationary period, you will automatically be granted full member status and will receive your first promotion.
