Games:EVE Online/publicplexFrom Dominion Gaming Wiki
NotesPatience Pays Rather Well, Camp the final rooms. Other people will warp in, say something in local and most will warp away if the overseer doesn't spawn shortly. Their mistake, don't make it. Hoard The Keys, with an alt or corpie. Yes its a dick move, but being a dick in public plexes is the best way to make profit. Also They key rooms are easier than the final rooms so a not so well fit alt does well here. (Only truly necessary in popular systems) Population of the System does not directly effect plex loot. Keeping “Loot” Containers Open DOES NOT effect respawn rate. In fact it is better to keep the containers open as you will now be able to see what spawned where, giving you an advantage over newbie/timid campers. Overseers may drop more than one Faction or Deadspace Item Bring a Salvager, Salvaging the Final Rooms is a great way to make a profit and burn time between spawn cycles. After the initial clearing rats respawn in groups or 2 to 4, making it easier to hold a camp once established. If alone in a plex its preferable to shoot the overseer last, if not: mad dash the overseer grab the can and if you had to steal it warp out quickly. Being a Dick in a plex is the best method to making money. Be aware that some people will attempt to pop you for faction fittings / loot. Be ready for them to be using damage types unlike the ones rats are firing. Avoid Grouping your weapons and spread out your fire, as many enemies are weak. Especially in the 1/10 and 2/10s If doing for profit, perfer lower numbers as their overseers spawn more often and are less likely to be camped. Use the system scanner and look for other ships and overseer wrecks in the plex 200,000 km to 1,600,000 km should be the entire plex You probably will NOT get good loot everytime, or for that matter any loot other than personal effects. DPS will be spread more than likely. 1/10s are really easy but 2/10s are often harder than 3s due to ship restrictions Use an Indy hauler alt if planning to get EVERY LAST PIECE OF LOOT (Read Overkill) 1/10 frigs + t2 2/10 frigs + t2 / destroyers 3/10 Cruisers / frigs + t2 / destroyers 4/10 + BC 5/10 + BS COMMON AMARR PLEXES1/10 Sansha Military OutpostTake : Em, Thermal Do : Em, Therm Faction : Sansha (Centii) Key(s) : Sansha Outpost Key Card, dropped by Outpost Security Officer. Final Overseer: Sansha Outpost Administration Building (Structure, not a large collide-able) Cycle Time: ~45 Mins. Rating: Very Easy. Systems I've Camped: Vashkah (Where I camp), Youl (quiet, typically), Aravyar (very quiet typically), Nidebora, Orkashu, Veeramoun, and more Entry Room:No Spawns 1x a. gate Room 1:1x Frig 1x a. gate (kill frig to unlock) Room 2:45km to next gate. 6 to 15 frigs at 17km to 54km 1x Overseer, Outpost Security Officer (1st tier Personal Effects [PE], 1x Named or Faction Mod, and Key) 1x A Gate (needs key) Room 3:2x Sansha Supply Containers (Keep these open, free loot. Be sure to empty even if you dont want the loot.) 10 to 15x Frigs 1x Sansha Outpost Administration Building (Structure, not a large collide-able) (3rd tier PE, Named or faction mod, Centii C-Type) 1/10 Sansha Military OutpostTake : Em, Thermal Do : Em, Therm Faction : Sansha (Centii) Key(s) : NONE (Good and Bad thing...) Final Overseer: Stuffed Container (Can) Cycle Time: ~1 hour Rating: Extremely Easy. Note: Room 2 has good salvage, requires no key and Scanner does no good as Overseer is a can. Systems I've Camped : Cheson, Aghesi Room 1:SKIP this room, its easy and drops are mediocre. 10 to 20 frigs 1x named turret 1x Overseer Structure, Hanging Guardens or Biodomes (1st tier PE, and a pile of named and t1 mods) 1x A. gate (shoot the structure grab anything you want and rush this.) Room 2 :3 to 4 Frigs 3km from warp in spot 5 to 15 frigs 10km to 35 km away 1x Stuffed Container (Rush to this and open it, take as many frigs down as you can on the way) (((KEEP IT OPEN AS THIS IS WHERE THE LOOT WILL BE!!!))) (Centii C-Type Mod, 2nd Tier PE and a Faction (True Sansha) or Named mod.) What is a Plex?A plex is kind of like a mission only remove the agent and the "instanced" gameplay... You can run into other plays and have to compete for loot with them. You do not gain any real standing for doing plexes, at least not anymore than you would for sitting in a 'roid belt poping spawns. Why do a plex? look at this picture... All of those, except the personal effects, are worth over a mil each (10m for the armor rep.) and the Corpii/Centii C-Type items are meta level 11 or better than faction loot! Shaweet! So how do I find these plexes? Look on your map and go to the color by tab. there is an option to show you COSMOS / DEADSPACE COMPLEXES its in the top option number three or four. They are all over the place! What does an overseer, those epic loot droppers, look like? They are either a structure that is NOT a large collidable, a can that is shown with a red rather than white diamond, or with a named ship with a type of "Overseer <SHIPTYPE>" where <SHIPTYPE> is Frigate, Cruiser, Battleship, ect. Here is a structure example: [2] This is in the Sansha Military Outpost. Now you mentioned something about the Directional Scanner, What am I Looking for? If the plex has a overseer ship, and the plexxer that was in there before you did NOT salvage the wreck there will be a wreck with a type of "Overseer <SHIPTYPE>" where <SHIPTYPE> is Frigate, Cruiser, Battleship, ect. Look for this, also look for other player ships, rats do NOT show up on the directional scanner so if you see a ship type its a player. Here is an overseer example: [3] Hope it helps |
